Plot:

Peter, an engineer, suffers from recurring nightmares of alien invasions, causing tension with his wife, Alice, and daughters Hanna and Lucy. He seeks psychiatric help but is met with a patient who shares his visions, leading him to believe they are of an upcoming invasion. The next night, alien spaceships attack, causing significant damage.

 Peter and Alice barricade their apartment, but an armored alien soldier breaks through and finds Lucy. They seek shelter at Peter’s factory, where a soldier appears and appears human. David, the boss, explains the invasion has been expected for years and Peter agrees to save Alice. Peter discovers that Alice is a synthetic, and he must save her.

He cuts open his chest to reveal himself as a synthetic. They encounter Hanna and Lucy, who are also synthetics. To avoid reprisal, most synthetics wiped their memories and lived as humans. Peter wakes up to find humans have been living on Mars for 50 years. They find their daughters as humans breach the factory roof.
