The Ring, a 2002 remake of a Japanese film, is a highly frightening and disturbing experience for parents. Four people and a horse die on-screen, with the possibility of many more untimely deaths throughout. The soundtrack is filled with the relentless Seattle rain, resonating with orchestral strains of doom and loud noise.

How disturbing is The Ring?

The tape contains extremely disturbing and brief yet AWFULLY disturbing content. The graphic and realistic depictions of intestines being pulled out of someone’s mouth and a nail being pushed through a finger create a horrifying atmosphere.

What will happen if you watch The Ring?

People die seven days after watching the cursed “The Ring” videocassette, as it took for pre-scary Samara to die in a cold, wet well. The popular series You Will Die in Seven Days: The History of The RING and RINGU Franchises provides a comprehensive overview of their history.
